Seahorse Graduation

Yesterday was Alia's preschool graduation from the Seahorse class. The kids sang a performance of 3 songs which I took a video of but accidentally deleted on my camera before uploading (oops). They did really well and I remember the first time Alia had to sing up on stage two years ago and she was the only kid who cried and had to be escorted off. This time she was one of the kids who sang loud and proud - stage fright no more.

After the summer session, she is moving up to the last class they offer which is a pre-K at Growing Light Montessori. She will be in the Wizards class and this will be her last year in this wonderful preschool.

Speaking of transitions, Kian is officially starting Growing Light this Monday as a "Honeybee" which is the youngest 2 year old class they offer. I took him in this morning for the first time for an hour to transition and he did well, playing and socializing. I've taken him to Alia's school before to acclimate him so I'm not worried.

The good news is I won't have to do two pick ups for this next year, for once both kids will be in the same school until Alia starts kindergarten the year after.

Congrats Seahorse Class 2013!
