Don't want to dwell on this so here are some photos from our adventure at Toley Falls Festival a couple of weeks ago, a rambling ranch in Petaluma that throws this amazing pumpkin fall extravaganza each year. Since Alia had been cooped up from being sick, we decided to take her to get her out having fun. We wanted to take Kian but he had just gotten the HFMD so we had to leave him home.
I would highly recommend Toley Falls. It was an authentic experience and not cheesy like some other pumpkin patches. This was so much more - farm animals galore you could pet, a real tractor ride to the pumpkin field (all shapes and sizes), tons of fun kids activities like candle making, corn husk doll making, and a real Indian village and tepees.
Alia had a blast and so did Tim and I. We definitely need to return next fall as a whole family.
Owls are always in kid's books, it was cool that Alia got to meet a real one!
I would never do this, but Tim actually likes snakes.
A real porpoise!
Pumpkins the size of Alia
