Zynga Halloween party

Tim's company Zynga threw a Halloween party at their sparkling new headquarters in SF. It was so amazing. There were kid's food galore (fruit, cake pops, cupcakes, PB&J, popcorn, cotton candy maker, hot dogs, grilled cheese, pizza, and of course candy). They have a Blue Bottle Coffee bar for employees and unlimited snacks and drinks. The Halloween entertainment included face painting, photo booth, movies, pumpkin painting, cookie decorating, coloring and crafts. It was so awesome!

When we first got there, Alia was frightened due to all the activity. She is pretty sensitive to new things and gets scared of big bright things and the unexpected. There was a lot of stimulation going on so she cried and clung to us for a good part of the beginning. I think she's still trying to makes sense of Halloween - is it scary or fun? It didn't help that when we went to the Fall festival a couple of weeks ago, a little boy dressed as the grim reaper (black mask on) "attacked" her iwth his cleaver. I saw the whole thing unfold and she broke down in tears. I mean that is pretty traumatic for a 2.5 yo. Eventually, Alia warmed up and ended up doing most of the activities.

So what are the kids going to be for Halloween? Introducing Don Draper (from the TV show Mad Men) and Pink Pony.

Yes, we got Kian a suit just for Halloween. Thank goodness for Amazon Prime.

Our handsome little boy. This is a 12 month suit but it fit pretty well for 6 months.

Pink Pony. I like this costume because it will stick around as a fun dress up toy at home long past Halloween.

So many fun activities and lots of employees brought their kids
