Kauai - Smith's Luau

Since this was Tim's parents' first time in Hawaii, we decided to go to a traditional luau. The one we went to was called Smith's Luau and the cool part about it was that it also included a tram ride throughout their beautiful botanical gardens which we toured by foot as well right before the luau started. There were tons of plants, trees, amazing scenery and lots of peacocks, chickens, goats and other animals around.

Alia got a big kick of the pig they lifted straight out of the pit for dinner and she still talks about that pig. She also got a kick of the Hawaiian women dancing in their "coconut bras." We giggles to that to this day.

The show was nice but it was dark by then and got a little scary for the kids so we headed out about 30 min before it ended. No photos of the show since it was too dark.
