Happy Hollow Park

Another first for us, was visiting Happy Hollow Park in San Jose. We've never been there, but have heard how fun it was so we took the kids over the 3 day weekend to check it out. First stop in San Jose was of course visiting a good Pho place. Why is there no good Pho in Oakland?? Tim and I hadn't had Pho in awhile and relished our bowl - the kids - not so much.

So Happy Hollow is sort of like a very very tiny Disneyland + playground + zoo. It's not one or the other, just a bunch of little rides, plays structures and petting zoo. I can see why it's such a good attraction for so many kids in the under 5yr old set. Since Kian is almost two, it's more fun to take him to these types of places. He can actually go on the rides with Alia and run around the play area, going down the slide by himself.

As always, the kids had the most fun on the rides. Can't wait until Kian is 36" so he can go on ALL of them. Right now he's limited...and each time his sister went on a "big kid" ride, he screamed big sad tears because he wanted to join her. So sad!
