My little girl is growing up

Alia is only 2.3 years old, but I feel she is already a little girl with her own opinions and manners and stubborn will. Some things she does:

- When we go to the doctor, she goes around to the nurses and doctors saying "I need to go home." It's a running joke each time we go there.

- She loves helping me in the kitchen and we've actually baked together (making cake a first time and cookies a second). She also helps me put away the dishes

- She loves helping me with the baby such as giving him a bath or changing his diaper

- She's manipulative. When I put her down to sleep she'll use any excuse in the book to get out of bed such as: "I need to go potty," "I need to go downstairs," "I have boogers," "I need to see Daddy," " I need to talk about day," and the list goes on and on

- She's crafty. She's figured out how to take her clothes and nightime diaper off at night, leaving us a poo present in the morning. It's because she doesn't like to go poo in the potty so we still use a diaper at night but she also doesn't like it in her diaper. As a result, we put her back in a sleep sack zipped backwards, but she also figured out how to get out of that.

- She loves to sing songs and can really sing them now from start to end.

- She loves to do little girl things like play tag, hide and seek, run in fields and just act silly.

Sometimes I just want to stop the clock and have her stay this way forever.
