Carmel

On Christmas Eve, Mama and Dada hosted dinner for two families who came over w/ their kids (and some of my fave buddies). Since we had no plans for Christmas Day and hadn't taken any vacation or time off in over a year, we decided to spontaneously drive to beautiful Carmel by the Sea the next day which is a picturesque town only two hours away. We even brought Wicket with us! Luckily we got a reservation at a nice lodge and were also able to get Christmas Day dinner reservations. It rained all through the day on Sat (Xmas day) but once we go to the lodge it was well worth the drive. Wished we could have stayed more than one day!
