Sunday is Funday Part 1 - Lake Chalet

Sundays are now designated Fundays at our house because that's the ONLY day of the week that I get to spend time with both Mama and Dada. They always try to make Sundays a fun day for me. This last Sunday, we went to two places. Lunch at the Lake Chalet and dinner at Half Moon Bay.

Lake Chalet is this amzing restaurant in Oakland right on Lake Merritt. They have this amazing long dock right on the water. We met up with some of Mama and Dada's friends and had a leisurely lunch right on the dock. I got to taste buttermilk fried chicken with biscuits, omelet w/ goat cheese and wild mushrooms, French onion soup, fish and chips, and buttermilk pancakes with raspberry compote. Boy oh boy was I in heaven. After lunch, I walked down the dock and saw the sea gulls and ran around excercising the big lunch I had. I was so happy and full! What a great afternoon.
