Happy Thanksgiving!

This weekend was sure a long one. I had Mama and Dada from Thurs to Sun. Oh what fun! there was also lots of kitchen activity and I had a feast for days on end it seemed. I ate turkey, cranberries, brussel sprout hash w/ caramelized shallots, chive mashed potatoes w/ creme fraiche, honey glazed cinnamon yams, roasted cauliflower with honey lemon butter, and last but not least, pumpkin pie (my fave of all the dishes).

On Thurs, we had the Paiks and Sims over. I got to hang out with Josie, Keira, and Emi. While they played with leaves in the backyard, I hung out inside the kitchen, eating snacks.

On Sat, we did a bit of holiday shopping mainly to get around and see the Holiday trimmings in SF.

Then on Sun, Josie came over and Mama showed her how to make 3 kinds of cookies; Mexican Wedding cookies, Jam Thumbprints, and Gingerbread Men! Mama made a Gingerbread Man ornament for me and one we gave Nanny today. I sure hope we get to hang it on a Christmas tree soon! Hope everyone had a warm and happy Thanksgiving!
